Liverpool prepare summer bid for Morata
The winter transfer window is over but this hasn’t stopped transfer rumors from going around and recent reports involving Liverpool and a possible signing are linking the Premier League club with Alvaro Morata of Juventus.
Alvaro Morata has struggled trying to secure a starting role in the team of Massimiliano Allegri who has preferred to utilize the services of Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic and forcing Alvaro Morata to the sidelines.
Being dropped to the bench is never something that any player wants to experience and this could allow other clubs on taking advantage of this situation and swoop in to try and sign the Spanish attacker.
If the Liverpool transfer rumours are correct, they will have a lot of competition as all of the other previously mentioned clubs are also believed to be on the move for Morata. Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are all of the other clubs that are believed to be interested in signing the Spanish forward and launch offers for him when the next transfer window re-opens in the summer.
If Morata does indeed make a move to Liverpool at the end of the season, this gives Jurgen Klopp the option of offloading a few of his other offensive players such as Mario Balotelli, who is very likely to be making a return to Liverpool at the end of the season.
Mario Balotelli is currently performing for AC Milan but the Italian striker is struggling to score goals on a consistent basis and AC Milan has the option of turning the loan deal of Balotelli into a permanent one but they aren’t expected to go for this path due to the inconsistency of the 25 year old player. The bookmakers think it has a good chance of happening (use a bonus code if you fancy putting money on) as Balotelli is being constantly dropped to the bench and has not managed to land an important role in the Italian club which is currently being guided by Siniša Mihajlović
