Gerrard wants to return as coach
Steven Gerrard has declared that he is ready to go back to Liverpool to take on a coaching role. He is currently playing for LA Galaxy in the MLS but wants to return to England at the end of his contract. Gerrard joined LA Galaxy at the end of last season and still have one year left in his contract.
Steven Gerrard has already started his coaching badges and would want to further his training with a coaching role at the club. He has recently met the current Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp and both men seems to get along with each other.
Klopp has allowed Steven Gerrard to train with the Liverpool side during the MLS off-season, and he believes that having Gerrard around can help boost the team spirit. Klopp has stated that he is impressed with the former Liverpool’s skipper form and that he is still a great player. The manager has revealed that Gerrard has helped him understand the club better and provide him some insights into the club culture.
At the moment, Gerrard knows that he still have a lot to learn – the step up toe professional coaching is similar to swapping playing games at Titan Bet and actually sitting at a table facing off against poker champions!
He stated that a lot of players did not make it as a manager because this is two different roles. He believes that he has still a lot to learn from the other top managers. He is interested in getting as much knowledge and experience as he can and then afterwards he will decide whether he can make it as a manager. One way to do this would be to work at Liverpool and get as much insight as possible for the German tactician.
Alongside his coaching badges, Steven Gerrard has also been offered a job as a pundit and very soon you will be hearing the former Liverpool man’s analysis on the media.
