Trio set to return for Reds

Liverpool could be boosted by the return of three key players for tomorrow evenings trip to Arsenal.

Goalkeeper Pepe Reina and defenders Glen Johnson and Jose Enrique are all available after recovering from their respective injuries, news that will be welcomed by manager Brendan Rodgers as he aims to bounce back from Sunday’s FA Cup fourth round defeat to Oldham Athletic.

Meanwhie defender Sebastian Coates, who made a rare start for the Reds at the weekend, has been linked with a move away from Anfield.

The Uruguayan, who has only played five minutes of Premier League football since October, is reportedly a £7 million target for Brazilian side Gremio.

With the wheels in motion for Philippe Coutinho, and a fresh bid expected for Tom Ince, the Reds have also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Alex Pritchard.

The 19 year old recently impressed in a NextGen match with Barcelona, and is likely to fall further down the pecking order at White Hart Lane due to the imminent arrival of Germany international Lewis Holtby.

Elsewhere, the Daily Mail have reported that Liverpool are a number of clubs interested in Aston Villa forward Christian Benteke who, despite his sides less than impressive form this season has eleven goals in all competitions so far this season.
