Suarez refuses to rule out summer move

Liverpool top scorer Luis Suarez has refused to rule out signing for Bayern Munich, despite declaring that he is happy at Anfield.

The Uruguayan, who has been one of the players of the Premier League players of the season, has repeatedly been linked with the Bundesliga leaders since it was announced the Pep Guardiola will become their manager in the summer.

In an interview with German newspaper Bild, Suarez confirmed that, should an offer arise, he and both clubs would “sit down and see what is best for everyone”.

The 26 year old, who signed from Ajax in 2011, has scored 25 goals so far this season.

Elsewhere, Reds defender Martin Skrtel has fuelled speculation that he is set to leave Anfield by suggesting that manager Brendon Rodgers lie to him regarding his recent omissions from the starting line ups.

The Slovakian told the Telegraph that Rodgers had explained why he had not selected him, before going on to say that it was “hard to tell if it was the true reason”.

The 28 year old has made just two appearances since the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United on January 13th.

Meanwhile, Pepe Reina has told the clubs official website that he has “a great relationship” with Brendon Rodgers, playing down previous reports that he too could potentially leave Anfield.
