Sterling going nowhere
Liverpool have rejected three separate loan approaches for Championship clubs for winger Raheem Sterling.
Leeds United, Bolton Wanderers and Cardiff City have all been rebuffed in their attempts to take the England international for the remainder of the season, after reports of the 18 year olds supposed availability were rubbished by Brendon Rodgers.
However, the Liverpool manager has said that he will listen to loan offers for Spanish attacking midfielder Suso.
The 19 year old has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield, and has not played since the 3-0 win over Sunderland on January 2nd.
Meanwhile, the Mirror have reported that Rodgers will only be given a transfer budget of £20 million pounds to strengthen his squad in the summer, meaning that he will most probably need to sell to bring in the numbers he has previously spoken of.
One potential target is Sporting CP midfielder Diego Capel, according to the Express.
The 25 year old, who has scored twice in eighteen Portuguese Liga appearances this season, is expected to be placed on the transfer list to free up funds.
Finally, Joe Allen is expected to have surgery on his troublesome shoulder within the next 48 hours, having withdrawn from international duty at the weekend.
