Guardiola in for Suarez?
Reports in the Metro suggest that Bayern Munich are lining up a £40 million bid for Luis Suarez, following their announcement that Pep Guardiola will take charge of the club in at the end of the season.
However the Uruguayan, who has twenty goals in thirty appearances for the Reds so far this season, stated just two months ago whilst speaking to the clubs official website amid interest from Manchester City, that he is enjoying life on Merseyside and is keen to stay for many years to come.
Meanwhile, youngster Michael Ngoo has been linked with a move to Scottish Premier League side Hearts of Midlothian, days after agreeing a loan deal for defender Danny Wilson.
The forward, who is yet to appear for the first team, scored 15 goals in just 21 games for Liverpool’s Under 18 squad two seasons ago.
Elsewhere, Southampton are said to be preparing a bid in the region of £10 million for Reds target Phillipe Coutinho, though Spanish journalist Guillem Balague, who has links with the club following the influx of Spanish squad members in recent years, revealed that the Inter Milan midfielder has told a ‘key Liverpool player’ that he is keen on a move to Anfield.
