Liverpool linked to El Shaarawy
Liverpool have been linked with a shock move for AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy, according to TalkSport.
The 20 year old has been regularly been linked with a move away from the San Siro, despite insisting that he is happy at the club.
The former Padova and Genoa has been capped eight times for Italy, and scored his only goal for in a friendly defeat to France while at club level, he has scored eighteen Serie A goals for Massimiliano Allegri’s side.
Brendan Rodgers brought in a host of attack minded players in the summer, with Victor Moses, Luis Alberto and Iago Aspas moving to the Merseyside club though with on-going uncertainty surrounding the future of Luis Suarez, another striker may be on his wish list.
Elsewhere, the Reds are hoping that Andre Wisdom’s imminent move to Derby County will help them negotiate a deal for midfielder Will Hughes.
The club were linked with a move for the England U21 international throughout the summer, with local rivals Everton, Arsenal and Barcelona also rumoured to be interested in securing his services.
The 18 year old has scored two goals in twelve Championship appearances this season.
