Rodgers still keen to keep Suarez
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has once again stressed that he wants to keep Luis Suarez at the club amid continuing speculation that the Uruguayan is set for a move away from Anfield, Sky Sports understands.
Arsenal had a bid for the 26 year old rejected by the Reds last week, and are thought to be considering making an improved offer, while a move from Real Madrid is also expected in the coming days.
However, Rodgers is adamant that he will be working with Suarez next season, insisting that that will be case unless ‘something drastic happens’.
Meanwhile, the Daily Star have claimed that the Reds are interested in signing Paris Saint Germain striker Kevin Gameiro.
The club were originally linked with the 26 year old in January, and are set to renew their interest following Edinson Cavani’s move to the Ligue 1 Champions.
The Daily Star have also reported that the club will move for highly rated Spain Under 21 international Alvaro Morata.
The Real Madrid striker impressed at the recent European Championships in Israel, and is keen on playing more first team football having made just a handful of starts for the Spanish giants during the 2012/13 campaign.
