Suarez future to be settled in three weeks
Liverpool are keen to see the future of Luis Suarez resolved by the end of this month, the Mirror understands.
The 26 year old has been given until July 22nd to take a holiday in South America before joining up with the Reds on their pre-season tour of the Far East and Australia.
Suarez has repeatedly stated that he wants to secure a move away from Anfield, following a two-and-a-half year spell which has been filled with controversy.
Yesterday, bookmakers slashed the odds of the Uruguayan moving to Premier League rivals Arsenal, while Spanish giants Real Madrid have been linked with the player since it became apparent that he may move on.
However, the Metro have reported that Chelsea have entered the race to secure the former Ajax man’s services, as the Blues continue to be frustrated in their pursuit of Napoli striker Edinson Cavani.
European Champions Bayern Munich have also been linked with a potential bid for the player, who scored thirty goals for Liverpool last season before missing the final four games through suspension.
That ban, which came after Suarez bit Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic, will continue for the first six matches of the new season, wherever the player finds himself.
